JCT Trio
Three renowned visionary artists of the next generation combine talents in this eclectic new piano trio, JCT (pronounced ‘junction’). Violinist Stefan Jackiw, an Ovations’ favorite recognized for musicianship that combines poetry and purity with an impeccable technique, returns with pianist Conrad Tao and cellist Jay Campbell. Maine College of Art Lecture Series: Dyani White Hawk
As a woman of Lakota and European ancestry, White Hawk was raised among Native American communities with urban landscapes. Her work reflects these cross-cultural experiences through combination of modern abstract painting and traditional Lakota art forms.
