Rosa Noreen grew up in Jonesport and has been belly dancing since 2004. In 2010, she co-founded Bright Star World Dance, Maine's only studio focusing on belly dance, and she travels extensively to teach and perform. On Saturday, April 27, Rosa Noreen brings together a talented group of dancers and musicians at the Springtime Spectacular at Longfellow Square. Expect an intimate, inspired show.

Jack and Mary Jo Perkins left Los Angeles for Bar Harbor at the height of his Emmy-winning career. There, they found a new home in the form of their cabin, affectionately called Moosewood. A former NBC journalist and host of A&E's Biography, Perkins examines the spiritual transformation that marked their time on Bar Island in Finding Moosewood, Finding God. We spoke with him in the days prior to his return to Bar Island, where he was due to record a video promotion for his book.

Togue Brawn has been working with seafood in a variety of capacities for over 20 years. From selling lobster rolls and clam cakes out of a cart on Commercial Street to waitressing at J's Oyster to working as a Resource Management Coordinator at the Maine Department of Marine Resources, she knows the industry inside and out. One of her most recent ventures is Maine Dayboat Scallops, where she sells scallops fished by Mainers and brought to shore within hours of being harvested.
