Maine Home+Design Show

The Maine Home+Design Show will be held in a specially constructed 30,000 square foot clear span semi-permanent structure on the grounds of Camden Hills Regional High School in Rockport – a more cohesive exhibition experience. Join us on June 30 to July 1 for the Show, which will coincide with Cellardoor Winery’s Pop The Cork celebration scheduled for June 28, is a solid reason for people to make plans for a long weekend in the midcoast of Maine. A weekend that will begin with an incredible wine and food experience and wind down with exhibits at the Show set up over one hundred businesses who help people make their houses homes through redesign and craftsmanship. June LaCombe Sculpture Showcase

 The "On the Wing" sculpture exhibit will be displayed at the Maine Audubon in Falmouth from July 3rd to September 20th with special Full Moon Opening Reception on Tuesday, July 3rd from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.  Birds hold a mythic place in our imaginations. The jewels of nature, they have inspired artists throughout time and are celebrated in this major exhibition and sale. 5th Annual Tri for a Cure

The 5thAnnual Tri for a Cure will take place on Sunday, July 29 at Southern Maine Community College in South Portland. Registration will begin in early February. The course starts on the beach at Spring Point Headlight and features a 1/3 mile swim, 15 mile bike ride through South Portland and Cape Elizabeth, and finishes with a 3/1 mile run from Spring Point Head Light to Bug Light in South Portland, winding back to the Southern Maine Community College campus to the finish line. Julie Marchese and Abby Bliss co-founded Tri for a Cure in 2008. Marchese, a cancer survivor, and Bliss, a dedicated triathlete and volunteer, combined their passions for health and supporting Maine Cancer Foundation’s mission to create Tri for A Cure. Now in its fifth year, the all-women’s triathlon raises crucial funds to combat cancer by supporting research, education, and patient assistance programs in the state of Maine.
