17th Annual Sugarloaf Chairty Summit Ball
The 17th annual Sugarloaf Charity Ball was held on January 28th and was an evening filled with food, drinks, music and auctions in the King Pine Room at Sugarloaf. This fantastic event sells out every year and is a wonderful chance to gather with the Sugarloaf community, celebrating life and helping to support vital cancer-fighting programs right here in Maine.
The Sugarloaf Charity Summit, which includes several events including the Sugarloaf Charity Ball, Loafers for a Cure, and a raffle for a 2-year season pass to the mountain to raise funds to support the fight against cancer here in Maine.
Proceeds from this charitable event support:
Maine Cancer Foundation, established in 1976, is dedicated to reducing cancer incidence and mortality rates in Maine. MCF leads a state-wide effort to foster and grow the most promising and effective cancer-fighting efforts available through a combination of grant-based financial support and coalition building.
Franklin Memorial Hospital’s Martha B. Webber Breast Care Center provides timely access to state-of-the-art screening, diagnostic, clinical, and care-support services, provided by a multi-disciplinary team of experts. Services are available in two convenient locations in Farmington and Livermore Falls.
