Robert Atkinson, Ph.D., is an internationally-recognized expert on life story interviewing, personal mythmaking, and soul-making. He is the author of nine books including his latest, The Story of Our Time: From Duality to Interconnectedness to Oneness. He previously taught at the University of Southern Maine, where he was the first diversity scholar in the School of Education and Human Development, and was a co-founding faculty member of the Russell Scholars Program and the religious studies minor. He was also a faculty member on the fall 2002 Semester at Sea voyage around the world and is director of Life Story Commons, a research, educational, and service unit of the College of Education and Human Development that promotes intergenerational and intercultural understanding.

Elizabeth McLellan is the founder and president of Partners for World Health. She received her degrees from American University, Northeastern University, University of Southern Maine, and Boston University School of Medicine and Public Health. She has spent her career working as a leader in nursing and healthcare administration. In recognition of her leadership, compassion, and service, McLellan has received numerous awards including the Hanley Center Leadership and Humanitarian Relief Award in 2010, the Red Cross Real Hero Award in 2011, the Outstanding Non-Profit Award in 2012, and the Northeastern University Social Impact Award in 2014.
