With one of the finest art collections at a liberal arts college, the Colby College Museum of Art offers a wide array of exhibitions and programs that are free and open to the public. On July 14, the Museum will celebrate the opening of the Alfond-Lunder Family Pavilion and the debut exhibition of the Lunder Collection. The Lunder Collection: A Gift of Art to Colby College will feature American and contemporary art. The 26,000-square-foot expansion, designed by Frederick Fisher and Partners, will include 10,000 square feet of new exhibition space, making it the largest museum in Maine.
