John Coleman founded the VIA Agency in 1993 and has been the Portland, Maine-based agency’s CEO since. Coleman holds an MBA and a BS in mechanical engineering and an honorary doctorate in fine arts from Maine College of Art. He sits on the board of trustees for the Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture, and he is a volunteer for the Preble Street Resource Center. Coleman enjoys fly fishing and playing the guitar, and he maintains an active studio practice exploring conceptual artwork.
