Vocalosity

This fast-paced production features an all-star ensemble of diverse young vocalists singing some of today’s chart-topping hits in brand-new arrangements that set a new standard for 10-part harmony. Portland Stage Company: Play Me a Story

Four to ten year olds are invited to enjoy a performance of 2 popular children’s books then explore these tales during an interactive workshop with our teaching artists. January is filled with stories of snowy adventures and birthday stories. We have two special events this month including an author visit, an illustrator visit, and Theater for Kid’s 7th Birthday Celebration!

The 17th annual Sugarloaf Charity Ball is back for an evening with food, drinks, music and auction in the Kind Pine Room at Sugarloaf. This event is a great way to support vital cancer-fighting programs right here in Maine.

Raider’s of the Lost Ark

Archaeologist and adventurer Indiana Jones is hired by the U.S. government to find the Ark of the Covenant before the Nazis. The year is 1936. An archeology professor named Indiana Jones is venturing in the jungles of South America searching for a golden statue.

Maine College of Art Lecture Series: Dyani White Hawk

As a woman of Lakota and European ancestry, White Hawk was raised among Native American communities with urban landscapes. Her work reflects these cross-cultural experiences through combination of modern abstract painting and traditional Lakota art forms.

Yuval Ron Ensemble featuring Dervish Aziz: “Seeker of Truth”
