Harvest On the Harbor Flavors of Maine

A grand tasting event featuring the varied ingredients and styles of cooking found in Maine, along with beer and wine samples. Each notable Maine chef will feature a local ingredient in an exclusive preparation. Participating chefs so far are from the following chefs and restaurants: Andrew Chadwick | Inn at the Sea, Karl Deuben and Bill Leavy | East Ender, Melissa Bouchard | DiMillo’s, German Lucarelli | Ports of Italy, Troy Mains | Harraseeket Inn, Chef Nick Krukkala and more to be announced.

Harvest On the Harbor Maine Lobster Chef of the Year

Notable judges and attendees will taste, sip and vote to name this year’s Maine Lobster Chef of the Year in a professionally judged competition along with the People’s Choice vote. Competing for the title will be Isaac Aldrich | Sebasco Harbor Resort, Stephen Richards | Boothbay Harbor Inn, Melissa Bouchard | DiMillo’s, Bo Byrne | Tiqa, Andy & Gerry | Highroller Lobster Co., the winner of the Boothbay Claw Down and more to be announced.

Harvest On the Harbor Happy Hour

This fun, boozy event features sips of spirits from members of Maine Craft Distiller’s Guild. Four tasting bars will be set up with custom food pairings: brown goods and bacon, vodka and veggies, gin and smoked seafood, and more paired with barbeque.

Harvest on the Harbor Harvest Crawl

New this year – a self-guided tour of food and drink spots in Portland including tasting rooms, bars, retail spots and restaurants. This event marks the finale of the nearly week-long festival with a sample bite or glass at each location.
