A Day in the Life: A Beatles Experience returns to the Camden Opera House, where it debuted in 2011 and left us wanting more last August. We are thrilled to welcome this touring production, which now features new video backdrops, new costumes, and new Beatles classics that you know and love, back home to the midcoast!

The Mallett Brothers
The Mallett Brothers Band’s busy tour schedule over the past seven years has helped them to build a dedicated fanbase across the U.S. and beyond while still calling the state of Maine their home. With a style that can ranges from alt-country to Americana, country, jam and roots rock, theirs is a musical melting pot that’s influenced equally by the singer/songwriter tradition as by harder rock, classic country and psychedelic sounds.

If you’re looking to meet new sailing friends or want to introduce a friend to the joys of sailing, Friday Night Social Sailing at SailMaine is for you! All experience levels are welcome to go for a sail on a J/22. Friday Night Social Sails are a great way to get out on Casco Bay and meet other members of the Portland community. Walking Tour of Camden, Maine
The Camden Public Library and the Camden Downtown Business Group host free walking tours of downtown Camden every Friday at 4:00 pm from June 30 to September 8th. The tours begin at the Children’s Garden of the Camden Public Library on Atlantic Avenue and end at the Opera House. Take the entire tour or just show up at the Opera House front doors at 4:45 for a behind the scenes look at our beautiful restored interior and fun facts including a five minute historic slide show!
Peter Yarrow
Peter Yarrow is an American singer and songwriter who found fame with the 1960s folk music trio Peter, Paul and Mary. Yarrow co-wrote one of the group’s greatest hits, “Puff, the Magic Dragon”.
Larry Gatlin Acoustic
Country legend, Larry Gatlin, brings his acoustic one-man show to our stage! A reschedule from last year, we’ve been anxiously awaiting his return. As part of the Grammy award winning trio, the Gatlin Brothers, Larry has played music for more than 60 years across the globe. We’re fortunate to have him bring his exclusive solo act to Vinegar Hill.
