Babette’s Feast

Babette’s Feast tells the story of how a refugee transforms a closed religious community by sacrificing all she has to throw a lavish dinner party. Through her radical hospitality, this mysterious woman converts her guests’ deeply held notions of scarcity and judgment and opens them up to give and receive abundant grace. This adaptation re-imagines the story you thought you knew about Babette’s singular feast: deep, funny, dangerous, sensual, and beautiful.

Met Opera LIVE: Puccini’s TOSCA

Rivaling the splendor of Franco Zeffirelli’s set and costumes of the Napoleonic era, Sir David McVicar’s ravishing new production offers a splendid backdrop for two extraordinary sopranos sharing the title role of the jealous prima donna: Sonya Yoncheva and Anna Netrebko. Vittorio Grigolo and Marcelo Álvarez alternate in the role of Tosca’s revolutionary artist lover Cavaradossi, with Michael Volle and Željko Lučić as the depraved police chief Scarpia. Emmanuel Villaume conducts.

WinterKids Downhill 24

The Downhill 24 is a team ski and snowboard challenge & fundraiser to benefit WinterKids. Teams compete to see who can not only raise the most in fundraising for WinterKids – but also see who has what it takes to spend a full 24 hours on the slopes. Participants can ski or snowboard as much or as little as they want.
