Barnstormers Ball Presents Gin & Jazz! On this special evening the Museum is transformed into a Roaring Twenties inspired party venue, taking design cures from the famous and daring barnstormers who defined an era of aviation. In the spirit of these historic aviators, we invite you to don your finest 1920s evening wear or vintage aviation-inspired garb and join us for our celebration of history, fun and a little bit of good old-fashioned showmanship. Live music, outstanding food, door prizes, and activities ensure this is a “can’t miss” summer event!

The Second City opened its doors on a snowy Chicago night in December of 1959. No one could have guessed that this small cabaret theatre would become the most influential and prolific comedy theatre in the world. With its roots in the improvisational games of Viola Spolin, The Second City developed an entirely unique way of creating and performing comedy.

A Day in the Life: A Beatles Experience returns to the Camden Opera House, where it debuted in 2011 and left us wanting more last August. The Camden Public Library and the Camden Downtown Business Group host free walking tours of downtown Camden every Friday at 4:00 pm from June 30 to September 8th. The tours begin at the Children’s Garden of the Camden Public Library on Atlantic Avenue and end at the Opera House. Take the entire tour or just show up at the Opera House front doors at 4:45 for a behind the scenes look at our beautiful restored interior and fun facts including a five minute historic slide show!

Peter Yarrow is an American singer and songwriter who found fame with the 1960s folk music trio Peter, Paul and Mary. Yarrow co-wrote one of the group’s greatest hits, “Puff, the Magic Dragon”.
