The Camden Public Library and the Camden Downtown Business Group host free walking tours of downtown Camden every Friday at 4:00 pm from June 30 to September 8th. The tours begin at the Children’s Garden of the Camden Public Library on Atlantic Avenue and end at the Opera House. Take the entire tour or just show up at the Opera House front doors at 4:45 for a behind the scenes look at our beautiful restored interior and fun facts including a five minute historic slide show!

Andrew Wyeth Centennial Celebration & Gala
Please join us for the Farnsworth Art Museum’s Summer Gala, the social highlight of the summer! Presenting the Maine in America Award to Betsy Wyeth. The summer gala is Farnsworth’s largest fundraiser, supporting the museum’s many free and low-cost public programs.

Each year, over a thousand women gather in South Portland to swim, bike & run as they Tri for a Cure in Maine’s only all-women’s triathlon. The Tri for a Cure is an unique opportunity for women to engage in the fight against cancer here in Maine.

Venticordi Chamber Music
London and Vienna are famous musical centers, and now Portland, Maine joins the list with Dan Sonnenberg. Works of Haydn, Mozart, Hindemtih and Etler round out your musical journey. Also joining is talented student oboist Shelby Heiman of Arundel. This is the first of two shows for “Cities of Sound”.

If you’re looking to meet new sailing friends or want to introduce a friend to the joys of sailing, Friday Night Social Sailing at SailMaine is for you! All experience levels are welcome to go for a sail on a J/22. Friday Night Social Sails are a great way to get out on Casco Bay and meet other members of the Portland community. Come down and join the fun! $25 per person.
