Friday night, Feb. 7 from 5 p.m. to close is the 2014 Annual Auction + Dinner Gala at the Holiday Inn By the Bay. There will be a cocktail hour, silent auction, live auction with Tom Saturley, CAI, of Tranzon Auction Properties, followed by dinner and program hosted by Cindy Williams, an award-winning WCSH6 news anchor.

Contemporaries Black + White Bash is tomorrow Feb. 6 at 8 p.m. at the Portland Museum of Art. This year’s Winter Bash will focus on the "Fine Lines: American Drawings from the Brooklyn Museum" exhibit and will feature signature cocktails, gourmet hors d’œuvres, and a private viewing of the exhibition.

This Friday Feb. 7 from 5 to 8 p.m. Gallery 75 will be Portland's newest gallery in the monthly First Friday Art Walk. Join us for art by local artists, hors d'oeuvres, and refreshments at 75 Market Street, Suite 203 in Portland.

Walking through the Fine Lines exhibit at the Portland Museum of Art, viewers experience some of the most beautiful drawings that span a century and a half of American history.

Tomorrow night the Portland Museum of Art is hosting a private reception for their new exhibit, "Fine Lines: American Drawings from the Brooklyn Museum" before it opens to the public. The event is from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., for more information visit portlandmuseum.org.

Maine Wood 2014’s opening reception is happening Friday, January 24 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Messler Gallery in the Center for Furniture Craftsmanship in Rockport.
