March of Dimes Maine will present its annual Greater Portland Signature Chefs Auction at DiMillo's On the Water on Thursday, September 28th at 5:30pm. Local chefs will prepare their signature dish in tasting-size portions during a cocktail reception. Guests will also be able to bid on many live and silent auction items, including unique dinners, hotel stays, and weekend getaways, all graciously donated by Maine businesses. 21st Annual Harvest Dance feat. Rustic Overtones will take place at the historic Mallet Barn at Wolfe's Neck Farm. Louise Nevelson (1899-1988) is recognized as one of the most important sculptors of the twentieth century whose wood sculptures, painted in black or white, revolutionized artists’ ideas of what sculpture could be.
