Meredith Burgess
Meredith Burgess, State Representative and Breast Cancer Survivor is a fifth generation Maine native. Meredith founded Burgess Advertising and Marketing, a full service advertising, marketing and public relations firm, in 1986. In 1999, she began an very public battle with breast cancer that lead to her intensive advocacy to raise awareness and funds to make cancer a disease of the past. She re-energized the Maine Cancer Foundation into a statewide major funder of primary cancer research and all the money raised stays 100% IN Maine. In 2006, she was elected to the Maine State House of Representatives and is completing her third and final term later this Fall. As the House Chair of the Joint Standing Committee on Health and Human Services, she has been involved in a variety of state programs to improve the health and care of Maine citizens. Meredith serves on numerous boards and foundations and is the mother of three adult sons and resides in Cumberland.
Ingrid LeVasseur
Ingrid LeVasseur, of Inner Image Clinical Thermography, is a Certified Clinical Thermographer who’s been in practice for 6 years. She has had a life-long interest in the promotion of wellness. To that end, she’s been a teacher of meditation for nearly 30 years and spent four years working with Deepak Chopra as a educational coordinator. Ingrid is a single parent of two amazing daughters ages 15 and 20.
Dr. Caroline Hodsdon
Dr. Caroline Hodsdon came to medicine later in life. With the help of her husband and two children she went to college at Saint Anselm in New Hampshire and went on to Dartmouth Medical School. The four of them moved to Maine for her residency in OB/GYN.
After residency, she joined Generations in 1998. In those 13 years medicine and technology have undergone huge changes. With membership in the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists and Society for Laparoscopic Surgeons, she strives to stay current in advanced laparoscopic techniques, making complex surgeries possible through tiny incisions.
