Our “Give Back” segment highlights Jen Goldman of the American Red Cross. The American Red Cross empowers ordinary people to perform extraordinary acts of service. Our blood donors are ordinary people sharing one thing – a desire to give back to their community and help others. Blood donors play an integral role in the delivery of modern healthcare. Many life-saving medical treatments and procedures involve blood transfusions and would not be possible without a safe and reliable blood supply. You don’t need a special reason to give blood. You just need your own reason. Whatever your reason, the need is constant and your contribution is important for a healthy and reliable blood supply. And you’ll feel good knowing you’ve helped change a life.
