Michael Boland

Michael Boland was born in Philadelphia and has lived in Bar Harbor for almost 25 years. He graduated from the College of the Atlantic in Bar Harbor and proceeded to open several restaurants, including Havana, Rupununi, and Guinness & Porcelli’s, mostly in Bar Harbor but in Winter Harbor, Bangor and Portland as well. He and his wife spend part of every winter in Latin America recharging and preparing for the upcoming season. They have two daughters, Zoe & Juno, 6 and 3 years old.
