Christy Hemenway

Christy Hemenway is the founder of Gold Star Honeybees, a company that creates a low-tech, natural beekeeping system known as the top bar hive, which allows bees to make their own natural beeswax honeycomb.  Christy is also the author of The Thinking Beekeeper, a guide to natural beekeeping in top bar hives, and a strong advocate for understanding the interrelatedness of bees, human health, and the health of the planet.
