Dr. Christopher D. Rogers
Dr. Christopher D. Rogers graduated from the University Of New England college of Osteopathic Medicine in 1985. After he completed his surgical residency he started a solo general surgical practice in upstate New York and then had the opportunity to join Portland Surgical Associates and return to Southern Maine in 2001.
Dr. Rogers obtained board certification from the American Board of Phlebology and board certification in general surgery in 1992. and fellowship in the American College of Osteopathic Surgeons in 1998, he has participated on committees of the American College of Osteopathic Surgeons, and has been an examiner for the American Board of Osteopathic Surgeons and a clinical instructor in surgery for the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine. In 2006, Dr. Russell and Dr. Rogers opened The Vein Center at Portland Surgical Associates to provide state of the art diagnosis and treatment of vein disorders.
When not at the practice Dr. Rogers can be found enjoying life with his family, Katherine and three children in Scarborough, Maine. He enjoys outdoor activities ranging from gardening, boating and sailing, and an occasional motorcycle ride on the coast or up to the mountains.
